About the Art and the Voices

About the Voices

Way of the Jaded Fist uses a combination of human voice actors and text-to-speech voices, including some of the familiar voices commonly heard in TikTok videos and social media skits.

I have given the TTS voices character names, personalities, and recurring roles—not to mislead anyone, but to keep the storytelling clear, consistent, and fun. These voices are not human performers, voice clones, or representations of real people. They are digital tools used as part of the production.

This project began as a creative experiment: a way to combine the talent and emotional range of human voice actors with the unusual qualities of modern text-to-speech. My goal is to explore whether memorable characters and meaningful stories can emerge from voices that many people normally associate with jokes, trends, or short-form videos.

I deeply respect the craft of voice acting. This experiment is not about replacing performers. It is about working with the tools available to an independent creator, blending different mediums, and seeing how far storytelling can stretch.

If the story makes you feel something, think about something, laugh, worry, or simply enjoy the ride, then the experiment has done its job. Thank you for giving it a chance.

About the Art

Some of the artwork used for Way of the Jaded Fist is created with generative AI under my direct creative guidance. I develop the characters, visual concepts, references, composition, mood, and overall art direction, then revise and select the final images to fit the identity of the series.

The handmade, sketchbook-inspired appearance is an intentional artistic choice. Its visible linework, rough textures, and personal quality better reflect the independent spirit of the project.

This style is not intended to suggest that the images were traditionally drawn by hand or commissioned from a human illustrator.

My goal is not to deceive anyone about how the artwork was produced. Generative AI is one of the tools used to help visualize a world that began with my writing, imagination, sound design, characters, and years of creative work.

As the project continues to grow, I will remain transparent about the tools involved while making artistic choices that best serve the story.
